What began as a single painting exploring the idea of transience in (one's) life is slowly turning into a group of paintings with the same theme. Experimenting with different colour schemes as well as the paint application, these paintings represent the mundane, different places / environments and their consistent yet every changing presence and "beauty". This is the second painting of this set, inspired by the seascape off the coast of French Riviera, one of my favourite places I have visited thus far.
